Dickens’ Shorter Tales – Choice Stories from Dickens’ Household Words, published by Belford, Clarke & Co., Chicago and New York in 1886. Printed and bound by Donohue & Henneberry, Chicago. Light spine and edge wear on the cover, wear on the inside edge of the cover board, a mark on the inside front cover, age appropriate discoloration around edges of the pages. Overall condition is very good.
Stories are: The Young Advocate, The Last of a Long Line, The Gentleman Beggar, Evil is Wrought by Want of Thought, Bed, The Home of Woodruffe the Gardener, The Water-Drops and An Excellent Opportunity.
